New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church

At New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, we believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for our faith, teaching, and daily living.

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for the sins of humanity, buried, and rose again on the third day with all power in His hands. He ascended into heaven and will return again in power and glory.

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but received through repentance and belief in the Gospel.

We believe that all people are created in the image of God but are separated from Him because of sin. Through Jesus Christ, reconciliation and new life are made possible.

We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, regenerates, indwells, guides, and empowers believers to live holy and obedient lives.

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, and that the local church is a congregation of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.

We believe in the ordinances of the Church: baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved unto eternal life with God, and those who are lost unto eternal separation.

We believe in living a life that reflects Christ through love, holiness, service, and a commitment to sharing the Gospel with all people.
