Who We Are
New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing community committed to worship, discipleship, and service. We are a church where faith is strengthened, lives are transformed, and people from all walks of life are welcomed with love and purpose. Rooted in the truth of God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit, we strive to grow together in spiritual maturity while making a meaningful impact in our church, our community, and beyond. As we move forward in faith, we remain focused on the calling God has placed before us.
Vision Statement
We will be a community of believers that grow spiritually through God's word, are equipped and empowered to serve with compassion, use our God-given gifts within the church and beyond, and boldly go into our neighborhoods, workplaces, and the nations, carrying the hope of Jesus and inviting others into a transformed life with Him.
This vision is rooted in Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus commands us to make disciples, and in Ephesians 4:12 which teaches us that the church exists to equip believers for the work of the ministry. Every NPG member is expected to grow spiritually, serve faithfully, and go boldly. We will operate with intentionality, excellence, and in alignment so that everything we do impacts and contributes to the Kingdom of God.
Mission Statement
We are a Christ-centered church committed to making disciples who Grow, Serve, and Go with an intention to impact our community with no wasted movement.

New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church
At New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, we believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for our faith, teaching, and daily living.
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for the sins of humanity, buried, and rose again on the third day with all power in His hands. He ascended into heaven and will return again in power and glory.
