Introducing Pastor-elect Steven E. Richardson
With more than 15 years of experience in pastoral ministry, leadership development, and community engagement, Pastor Steven E. Richardson brings a deep passion for the growth and spiritual vitality of God’s people. His calling is rooted in a commitment to building a spiritually vibrant, mission-driven church culture—one that emphasizes sound biblical teaching, authentic discipleship, and meaningful community service.
Throughout his ministry journey, Pastor Richardson has demonstrated a proven ability to inspire and lead congregations toward spiritual maturity and active community involvement. During his time at Triumphant Life Church, he helped increase membership through strong biblical guidance and intentional discipleship, while also expanding program participation and strengthening the church’s impact within the community. His leadership in strategic planning and ministry development has resulted in impactful workshops, outreach initiatives, and increased volunteer engagement—fostering unity and purpose within the body of Christ.
Having served as both an associate minister and campus pastor, Pastor Richardson is well-equipped to develop effective Christian education programs and cultivate discipleship pathways that nurture spiritual growth. His preaching and teaching create environments where individuals are empowered, relationships are strengthened, and faith is deepened.
Pastor Richardson is honored to serve New Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, bringing his gifts of preaching, teaching, and administration to the congregation. Grounded in the principles of Romans 12:6–8, he is committed to helping each member discover and use their God-given gifts in humility and unity. His vision is to guide the church in fulfilling its collective purpose—growing stronger in faith, serving the community, and advancing the Kingdom of God.

He holds a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in various pastoral roles across the country. His journey began in a small town in Mississippi, where he was inspired by his family's deep faith and commitment to community service. Over the years, Pastor Richardson has been instrumental in leading outreach programs, fostering spiritual growth, and building inclusive congregations. His passion for empowering others and his unwavering faith have been the cornerstone of his ministry.
